We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Software Engineering to join our growing organization.
Responsibilities Provide strategic direction for leadership of the software development team Develop and continuously improve all stages of our Agile Software Development Lifecycle in order to improve products and ensure a scalable environment Provide senior/subject matter expertise on certain aspects of product architecture Critically analyze existing team and implement KPIs to measure effectiveness Contribute to product and technology roadmaps Develop a program to coach and mentor staff via internal or external resources Hire and develop team members, manage team leads Develop and enforce standard operating guidelines and policies Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS, Engineering, or related field 15
years professional experience in commercial system software development and delivery 15
years of experience building, leading, managing and developing high-performance engineering teams and inspiring performance that exceeds expectations and retains resources Proven knowledge in software and systems architecture, design and implementation Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Proven leadership skills, including the ability to identify talent, build teams, mentor and develop team members and inspire performance that exceeds expectations and retains resources Nice to have skills:
Knowledge of Linux System Architecture Knowledge of Programming languages Python, C, C sharp, PHP, React, Swift, JavaScript, MATLAB is a plus What We Offer:
