Account Executive

Our client, a growing food service company is seeking a professional Account Executive to join their team and help support the company's key accounts.
Salary/Hourly Rate: Based On Experience
Position Overview: The Account Executive will be responsible for managing a territory of Key Accounts, attending trade shows, and other various events. The Account Executive will be polished and professional with strong organizational and communication skills, and have great enthusiasm in their sales techniques.
Responsibilities of the Account Executive:

  • Identify, target and cultivate relationships with distributors, manufacturers and other targets for the purpose of selling the companies line of products.
  • Become adept at selling the companies strengths and capabilities depending on the type of customer - i.e. broad product line, consistent supply, full container load capabilities etc.
  • To consistently focus the team's sales efforts on placing and securing new items within our customer base; to help successfully launch new any/all new items introduced by the company
  • Schedule consistent and sustained in-person visits with existing customers in the territory, in an effort to build or further personal relationships. Travel expectations are up to 50%.
  • Consult with the clients purchasing departments regarding their specifications. Present options to accounts such as country of origin, container size etc. and other alternatives that might alter price, and availability
  • Report requirements, to be submitted to RSM in the following timeline: weekly market recap; quarterly KPI report; semi-annual review/industry analysis; annual KPI/review
  • Forecast future customer opportunities and monitor ongoing business on a continual basis, and coordinate necessary product needs with our purchasing department.
  • Coordinate with the Inside Sales representative assigned to each account to ensure accurate and prompt communication about customer changes, requests, issues/problems, etc. Foster a team-based approach to the sale cycle.
  • Constantly gain feedback from customer base on overall performance for continuous process improvement
  • Represent the brand of products at buying group other customer driven trade shows and events or industry trade shows (as needed)
  • Any other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by management

Qualifications for the Account Executive:

  • 2-5 years in a food service sales capacity
  • Proven track record to grow existing business and build new relationships off of client referrals and networking
  • Present in a professional manner with a strong desire to succeed
  • Ability to handle different activities, adjust to various personalities and display confidence and enthusiasm
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree Preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
