O&M Services Operations Professional

Maintaining water treatment system operation and maintenance at a variety of assigned sites
Optimizing extraction systems/pumps,
Collection of groundwater, surface water, soil, sediment, and gas samples
Completing water level measurements
Performing field tasks for treatability studies and construction projects under supervision of advanced engineers and scientists.
Maintaining effective communication with client and subcontractor
Effectively completing tasks and ensuring project deliverables are carried out
Completing inventory, maintenance, repair and calibration of field equipment and supplies
Data entry of operations data, water level data, laboratory data and providing other technical assistance as assigned
Assist the project manager when developing scope costs and updating project files
Assist the project manager with proposal preparation and review
Manage certain aspects of projects with the goal of honing project management skills
Mentor and oversee junior level technicians
Determining field staffing needs
Desired Skills and Experience:
BS Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental), Sciences, or construction management related discipline preferred
10 years' minimum experience in water treatment system operation or related field; previous experience with project management a plus
Must have a general to advanced understanding of environmental management concepts
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Must be organized, reliable, and able to learn new technical concepts and to work well with others
Must be able to work independently with very little supervision
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in the implementation of the daily execution of key functions while coordinating with project teams
Willing to travel locally frequently
Must be willing to work in a rigorous field setting where duties will include some lifting (<50 lbs), working outside year-round and in inclement weather, long periods of standing, walking and potentially working during 2nd and 3rd shifts or weekends
Ability and willingness to wear proper and site required PPE (personal protection equipment).

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
